Rustic Birthday



Hi!!

No challenge or guidelines today, so I made a rustic birthday card.

My husband's beloved great uncle just celebrated his 90th birthday, and I wanted something simple, yet elegant for him. 

I used Sherry's card as inspiration. I really love how she used the weathered background stamp on the kraft cardstock. So, that's what I wanted to use. I haven't inked that up in YEARS. 

I think it turned out ok, for a Clean and Simple card.

Don't forget to come back tomorrow and see what else is being made with OLD supplies.

    So pretty! I love that weathered background stamp. Sherry did have a great design, didn't she? I might have to use it, too! Perfect example of an elegant yet masculine card. You rock!
