My First Tool

Hello, and happy Friday to all!

At the very first stamping demo I went to the demonstrator used a crimper, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever and bought one that day. I did use it a lot at first when it was one of the only cool gadgets I owned, but since the arrival of so many new and exciting tools and gadgets like Xyron, Grand Calibur, Nestabilities, embossing folders, Cricut and Cameo, it has been in the back of a drawer for a long time now along with several other old friends like shaped scissors. This week however, Sherry challenged us to use our oldest tool, so I got out the crimper and had a lot of fun using it again, and here is a card that I made using my old crimper.

Supplies:
Fiskars crimper
Spellbinders Labels Eight
Unity "to the moon and back" stamp
CTMH ink
twine
buttons

I had a lot of fun playing with my old crimper again, and hope that you too will get out some of your old tools and use them to make something fun and new, and stop by next week to see more new projects created with oldies but goodies.

  1. I love this card, Eva! The bright colors and shape of this card make is beautiful! I think it is funny that so many of us pulled out our paper crimpers. I remember how "cool" it was when I first started stamping!
