Flowers are forever

Hello again - it's me, Ky. How many times have you gotten or seen a great bouquet of flowers and immediately wanted to preserve them forever? Drying flowers can be a pain, so naturally, I thought putting flowers on a card would be an easy way to celebrate a birthday!

This card uses Gina K Design's Eclectic Summer and Eclectic Summer Sayings.

The twine, ribbon and button are from my stash. I couldn't resist tearing the paper a little... Dragging out my Copic markers to color the image to match the papers...

Or rolling an edge, and I just *had* to use Tim Holtz's tiny attacher. Then I needed to distress it, and throw in some brads. Oh and use an old button... Tee hee! I get quite carried away!

I hope you are creating along with us. Share how you've breathed new life into your old images and supplies. We can't wait to check your projects out - so be sure to link us up!

Eva will have more tomorrow to whet your appetite!

Ta for now,
~ky
