Thank You!

This week a friend asked me to help her make some thank you cards for her FRG group helpers. She wanted to be able to include a pack of gum, and here is the card I came up with for her.

I put a pack of hot chocolate in this one, since my house has two teenagers and we are always out of gum.

The military stamps have been in my stash for years, they are from from Art Declassified, and they were perfect for this card. Since my friends husband is in the artillery, I added the red ribbon for the artillery red color they use. Not sure where the camo paper came from, it has been in my stash for a very long time, and I was so happy to finally use it.

Happy Monday to everyone!

  1. Hahaha - I can relate having no gum in the house. I love this pocket design. Such a great treat to use up things we've held onto so long.

  2. What a great idea for a thank you! Pocket cards are my favorite to create and I like the hot cocoa instead of gum.

  3. Would you be interested in making some of the Army thank you cards? I am an FRG Leader for a National Guard unit in Ohio. They are a Chinook helicopter aviation unit. I love what you have made and would be interested in purchasing them from you. :)
