Eva here with a card for you today. I made this card a while ago, but I really like the kraft and pink together and how this turned out, so I wanted to share it here. The beautiful stamp is from Unity.

I hope everyone has had a great start on the new year. For me it has been super busy, but fun too. Here in NC the weather has been spring like for the past few days, so I have been having a lot of fun playing with the kids outside. Today however I am going to spend some time playing with my stamps and hopefully make some Valentine's Day cards.

Thank you for stopping by!

Playing the Waiting Game

I'm trying to patiently wait for a delivery. I'm not that good at patience, though. So, I thought I'd share a little project with you while I wait. I'm hoping that getting involved in something will trigger the delivery!

I made this card from a kit created by a friend of mine. While I can't take credit for the design (which I adore), I can take credit for the coloring. Yep, copic markers are some of my best friends!

I'm not wishing this month away, but I am a fan of Valentine's. Just because you don't have a sweetheart doesn't mean you can't celebrate. What are your plans? I love myself, so I'm thinking I'll treat myself to dinner and a movie. Maybe I'll do a practice run before then. Hahaha!!

Hope your January is still shiny and new!

A week later...

Here we are, one week into a brand, shiny-new year. How's yours shaping up? I'm still working on getting my expectations, goals, and checkpoints established, but it's progress! Here's a little project I whipped up. Now, I can't take credit for the design, this was a wonderful card kit from a past design teammate of mine.

The cute young lady is from the Greeting Farm, and I think the words stamp is Stampin' Up (but it's been so long I could be wrong!). I colored this lass with my Copic markers (which I have fallen back deeply and madly in love with).

Here's a little close-up. You can barely make out the glitter I added to her heart on her dress, and the ruffles around her shoes. That paper with the hearts on it is flocked! I love flocking! I puffy heart love it. It is my 'glitter' because you all know, I can't deal with glitter.

Ok, it's time for you to get started on wonderful spring projects. The big chocolate holiday is next, then we're on to St. Patrick's day and Easter. Hope you get a little kick out of this card!

Toodles!

The Chill of Winter

Hi everyone!

Today is my last day to post for the week

and since it's so cold outside I made a snowman card.

Set is from PaperTreyInk.

I enjoy playing with this little guy.

The snowflakes above the sentiment are just doodles made with a white gel pen.

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

Thanks for stopping by!

Well Behaved Women....

Happy Thursday!

I'm so glad this is a short school/work week.

I don't know about you, but I'm ready for the weekend!

The above card is a CASE of one I found in my stash. I used the same color scheme, basic layout, and image, but improved on it a little.

This sentiment always makes me laugh.

I couldn't take a picture of my old card since it was falling apart. It was one I made with no purpose and didn't have anyone in mind to send it to. This time, I do. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

New Format for 2013

Hi all!

With the start of the NEW YEAR

we are starting a new format here on the blog.

Each week, one of the team members will take a turn,
for that entire week,
and post as little or as much as they want.

Each member can choose their own theme, challenge, or just post whatever she wants.

The goal is to create using our supplies.

My card above was created with some Authentique patterned paper and punch out embellies.

Stop by tomorrow and I'll have another card for you all.
